Using Agile to Develop High-Integrity Systems
Traditionally, high-integrity systems are developed using the classic waterfall approach as defined by many industry standards. However, a poor understanding of the requirements in the early project stages and an inability to manage technological changes can result in higher costs and delays.
Agile methodologies would make it possible to integrate user feedback while the system was being developed, with all kinds of potential benefits. The question is whether adopting agile methodologies would jeopardise the certification process.
In this white paper, we share how we created a new approach to the development of high-integrity systems using agile. Learn about the changes we introduced to the traditional scrum lifecycle, including new steps and techniques and how we faced the challenges along the way.
