Lisbon Critical Hub: A Space for Innovation and Synergy Creation
The Lisbon Critical Hub represents the intersection of innovation, creativity, and the development of sustainable technological solutions for the community.
With the aim of creating synergies and promoting innovative businesses and ideas, the Critical Hub is now home to Beyond Gravity and Greenhub.
Focused on the commitment to open more doors to the community, the Lisbon Critical Hub is a space for all those seeking innovation and sustainable growth. In this context, Beyond Gravity, an innovative company in the aerospace sector, joins us. The company stands out for its sustainable approach and arrives at the hub to enhance its commitment to stimulating the growth of the country’s technological ecosystem, contributing to the evolution of the aerospace sector in Portugal.
The Lisbon Critical Hub is becoming greener and more innovative
Greenhub, an innovation hub inaugurated by Unicorn Factory, also emerges within the Lisbon Critical Hub, in partnership with Critical Software, Grupo Brisa, Mota-Engil Renewing, Cleantech for Iberia, and the Lisbon City Council. The focus of this new space is to promote innovation in the areas of sustainability and mobility, ultimately contributing, according to the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, to the creation of "more jobs in Lisbon."
Committed to becoming a platform for the development of these two rapidly expanding areas, the new hub spans 600 square metres, of which 16 companies and 110 employees are already part. It is an innovative space that, according to João Carreira, CEO and Co-Founder of Critical Software, “will be the home for innovative startups involved in rethinking sustainable mobility.” The hub features coworking spaces, 9 private rooms, and a lounge for events, networking sessions, and workshops.
With these two new additions, the Lisbon Critical Hub reinforces its goal of becoming a source of support for the community, generating innovation, economic growth, and talent attraction, while continuing to focus on a business model centred on the three P's - People, Planet, and Profit, a model that goes far beyond mere profit.
The objective now is to expand this concept of a sustainable, innovative hub open to the community to the other Critical Software locations in Portugal, namely Porto, Viseu, and Coimbra.
