Gonçalo Quadros, CEO of Critical Software, was recognised with the University of Coimbra Award which recognises Portuguese individuals that have made significant and innovative contributions in the areas of culture or science.

Gonçalo Quadros, CEO of Critical Software, was recognised with the University of Coimbra Award which recognises Portuguese individuals that have made significant and innovative contributions in the areas of culture or science.


The announcement was made this Thursday by the Dean of the University of Coimbra, João Gabriel Silva, who highlighted Gonçalo’s contributions to developing society through the advancement of knowledge and technology, the creation of skilled employment opportunities and the growth of the interior regions of Portugal.


The award was established in 2004, sponsored by Santander Totta bank and supported by Jornal de Notícias.


Gonçalo Quadros will receive the award on March 1st, at a session commemorating the 729th anniversary of the University of Coimbra.
