Fourth Time in a Row: Critical Wins the DCC’s Partnership Award
Another win after a smooth hat-trick. Together with the DCC, we are moving the Great Britain closer to the goal of a low-carbon economy.
The DCC is responsible for the design, build and secure running of the national infrastructure platform for Great Britain’s smart meters.
After many years of collaboration and partnership, Critical Software was once again awarded the DCC’s Partnership Award, which demonstrates our exceptional performance supporting Great Britain’s smart meter rollout and transition from building infrastructure to operating and enhancing it. This way, we are contributing to connecting more and more smart meters while developing the platform for innovation and reuse.
Our joint work has enabled nearly 23 million meters to be connected so far, on the path to connecting 55 million homes!
Being a key supplier in both SMETS2 Parse and Correlate and SMETS1 Dual Control Organisation programmes, Critical Software’s proactive support and collaboration has established us as a trusted partner to the DCC, where we share expertise and knowledge to help them achieve their vision.
When it was time to claim the award, Bernardo Patrão, Critical Software’s Division Director for Smart Technology Solutions commented: "We are honoured to have received the DCC's ‘Partnership Award’ for the fourth time in a row!”
“We are incredibly proud of the team that has made this possible. Our efforts, our high-quality work and shared vision reflect our purpose of helping our clients by using the power of technology as a force for good.”
“The DCC's continued trust in our teams fuels our ambitions to deliver more quality projects while nurturing this relationship."
The DCC’s CTO, Mike Hewitt, added: “Critical Software has been one of our key technology partners for many years now. They exhibit strong traits of collaboration, openness, and willingness to share information across our partner community. Their domain expertise is excellent and their subject matter experts are always willing to lean-in and provide support to the DCC team.”
