Critical Software sponsors Agile Portugal 2018

Critical Software has announced that it will sponsor Agile Portugal 2018, the country’s premier international conference on agile software development. Taking place in Porto on May 25th, the conference brings together the wider tech community to exchange ideas and experiences on all things agile.

Critical Software is one of only a handful of companies in the world with both waterfall and agile software development processes rated at CMMI-DEV Level 5. Critical’s Quality Director, Delio Almeida, will share his expertise at the conference, delivering a talk entitled “Changing Global Quality Operations: How Kanban Did the Trick.” The talk will explore how Kanban has the power to transform the way teams work, improving their productivity, process visibility, continuous improvement methods and agile practices.

Delio said: “It’s always a pleasure to meet and share ideas with the tech community at events like this. We’re passionate about agile software development at Critical, and it’s a lot of fun and really productive to talk about some of the ways we use methods like Kanban, Lean and Six Sigma.”

This year marks the ninth Agile Portugal conference and over 400 attendees are expected to attend an exciting day of expert talks and workshops. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Agile Portugal website.
