Critical joins a prestigious group of global suppliers, offering vital expertise in creating the next generation of critical systems for the aerospace giant.

Building on a relationship with Airbus spanning 15 years, the agreement means that Critical will provide its software and systems expertise to major aerospace projects, such as the development of cabin management applications.

The agreement is testament to Critical’s strong track record in delivering complex strategic projects for its clients and is the result of a multi-phased procurement process assessing the company’s engineering expertise, industry knowledge, quality standards and financial performance.

In recent years, Critical has forged strong strategic relationships with major players in industries from automotive to energy. Notably, the company established a joint venture with BMW in 2018, launching Critical TechWorks

Ricardo Armas, Business Development Director for aerospace at Critical, commented: “This selection reflects Airbus’s trust in our work, developing critical systems that will shape their business, the wider industry and the future of travel. We look forward to working together on exciting projects that will bring positive change to the world of aerospace.”
