Critical Software is the third company in Portugal to obtain the certification, which reduces barriers for trading-controlled products and technologies.

At the end of January, we achieved the Recipient Company Compliance Certificate (CCED), a certification issued by the Ministry of Defence of Portugal. This achievement enhances our credibility and facilitates the secure trade of controlled goods and technologies in the ASD markets.

We are now one of only three companies in Portugal to have obtained this certification,. It enables us to face fewer obstacles in managing the export and import of military-related products, which are essential to our operations in these sectors. Moreover, the certification simplifies access to international markets, reducing the bureaucracy associated with these processes.

José Costa, Chief Security Officer of Critical Software, highlights that this certification "not only enhances our credibility but also streamlines our operations in the Aviation, Space, and Defence markets. We are now better positioned to manage military-related exports and imports, facilitating safer and more efficient access to international markets. Most importantly, CCED allows us to ensure that these technologies are used in a positive way, helping to achieve our purpose of building a better and safer world".

The CCED is already available on the website of the Ministry of Defence of Portugal, and Critical Software is also listed as a certified company on the European Commission's website.
