The aim is to enhance Critical Software's visibility in the European automotive market.

The collaboration with SOAFEE (Scalable Open Architecture for Embedded Edge) will support the adoption of modern development paradigms that seamlessly integrate cloud and edge computing within safe and secure environments.

Within SOAFEE, we will contribute to the acceleration of these novel architectures and platforms in the automotive industry, delivering open-source reference implementations that will seed this new ecosystem.

José Rui Simões, Business Development Manager at Critical Software, highlights: "SOAFEE’s vision of enabling a cutting-edge development paradigm for automotive and safety-critical systems is completely aligned with Critical Software's commitment to innovatiion and safety. This partnership positions us at the forefront of safe, secure, open, and high-performance architectures that will drive software-defined vehicles into the future."

This partnership is part of our strategic path for the Software-Defined Vehicle of the Future (SDVoF). Our involvement in other projects, such as HAL4SDV, reflects our ongoing investment in building a better, safer, and more secure SDVoF. We want to become a driving force in the necessary revolution of the automotive industry by taking an active role in its definition.
