Critical’s CMMI Level 5 accreditation, demonstrating our organisational and process maturity, has been renewed for the next 3 years.

CMMI Level 5 Accreditation

Critical Software’s CMMI Level 5 accreditation has been renewed for the next three years.

The Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV for short) is an accreditation given to companies who can demonstrate effective process management and a commitment to implementing measures that decrease risk in product and service development.

We first received CMMI Level 3 in 2006 – the first Portuguese company to receive this certification – which was upgraded to Level 5 in 2009 – once again, the first company in Portugal to achieve this feat. The latest recognition further updates our accreditation to CMMI 2.0 Level 5.

Eduardo Ribeiro, Quality Director, commented: “The CMMI 2.0 Level 5 appraisal shows Critical’s effort and commitment as a company to achieving excellence, streamlining process improvements and fostering a culture of organisational agility in the software and systems we deliver to our high-profile and often demanding customers.”
