A high-end Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre system of systems that complies with IAMSAR guidelines and maritime SAR best practice. Integration with GMDSS distress alerts, such as COSPAS-SARSAT and DSC and other GMDSS systems (e.g. NAVTEX), and voice communications is vital to promote a quicker and more efficient response, as is the system database that includes vessel information and geographic information such as place-names and contacts. Oversee also supports SAR exercises and drills, allowing agencies to rehearse and validate their response procedures under realistic, simulated scenarios.
Situational Awareness
Live traffic data is integrated from multiple sources — including GMDSS distress alerts, weather information, and resource position and status. Dashboards give operators an at-a-glance view of coordination center status and resource readiness. Risk algorithms and configurable alarms provide early warning of potential distress situations before they escalate.
Incident Response
When an alert comes in, Oversee surfaces the full details and map position of the vessel immediately. Emergency calls are automatically logged with caller ID and location. Operators can search for any vessel or contact instantly and identify the closest available resources with the right capabilities — tasking them directly from the map via integrated paging. Built-in search planning tools support coordinated action from the first moment.
